How it works with a turntable setup
Here’s the signal path in plain English: turntable into a phono input on the receiver, or turntable into an external phono preamp, then into a standard line input on the receiver.
From there, the receiver powers the passive speakers and routes TV audio over HDMI eARC or ARC. If you’ve got an Audio-Technica or Fluance turntable with a built-in preamp, setup is easier.
