Sound Quality
The Pyle PDIC80T in-ceiling speakers deliver a surprisingly decent sound for their form factor. With the 8-inch polypropylene cone, they manage to fill a room with sound without sounding too thin. You won’t get earth-shattering bass, but they do a good job of moving air in spaces like kitchens or open living areas, making them ideal for background music or casual listening.
The 1-inch titanium dome tweeter is a nice touch, providing enough clarity for voices and podcasts. I found that when I was listening to lighter music or catching up on my favorite shows, the sound was clear and engaging. However, if you’re looking for that deep, rich bass that you might expect from a dedicated stereo setup, these speakers won’t quite deliver that punch.
